Control Valves Engineering
Course Objective:
This course will help you to gain a practical understanding of control valves, actuators, and positioner designs and their applications. The course also provides methods that can be used to identify specific valve problems and arrive at acceptable solutions within engineering tolerance. It you how to correctly install, calibrate, and maintain valves. • To tabulate the valve data sheet • To assembly and disassembly the valve parts safely • To test control valve operation (on line – off line) • To interpret the function of control valve • To install the control valve • To select and size the control valve • Evaluate and select actuators for specific applications • Specify appropriate auxiliaries including Positioners and I/P transducers
