Programs Objectives
investigates the analysis of hydrocarbon reservoirs facies , Characteristics and geometry of sand bodies will be considered, with
the emphasis on the complexities of reservoirs formed in fluvial depositional environments.
Field studies of ancient and recent continental deposits will beincluded.
Program Contents
- Two days in Haymana studying turbidities and shelf deposits. and shallow marine deposits.
- One day in Beypazarı to check lacustrine deposits.
- Two days In Cankiri to examine submarine channels and their infills , subaqueous debris flow sand Shelf marl sand fluvial sequences,
- Two days in Yakacık and Saribeyler to examine Sandy Flysch of CretaceousTurbidities Continental succession from lake and meandering river to Alluvial Fan deposits.
- One Day in Orhaniye , Sub Marine basins where we can correlate with the subsurface section in Egypt reservoir
